Coverage:
United States
Demo Dataset:
US_Nuclear_Plants_EIA_June_2026.zip

Licence & Attribution
Reuse:
EIA states that its U.S. Government publications, datasets, databases and other information products are in the public domain. EIA recommends acknowledging the source and including the publication date.
Recommended Attribution:

Official Source:
EIA – Nuclear & Uranium Data
Important Information
The Reactors field represents the number of operating reactors at the plant, rather than the type of reactor. EIA data is updated regularly, so current operating status and plant information should be checked against the official source.
Azimap does not own or maintain the original EIA data.
2. US County Boundaries
Data Type: Shapefile / GIS Polygon Data
Provider: U.S. Census Bureau
Description:

United States
Boundary Vintage:
2025 Cartographic Boundary Files
Official Source:
U.S. Census Bureau – 2025 Cartographic Boundary Files
The Census Bureau provides national Cartographic Boundary Files in formats including shapefile, GeoPackage and geodatabase.
Licence & Attribution
Reuse:
Census Bureau works created by federal employees generally are not subject to copyright protection in the United States. The Census Bureau asks users to cite it as the source of geographic and statistical products.
Recommended Attribution:
Source: U.S. Census Bureau, 2025 Cartographic Boundary Files.
Important Information
Cartographic Boundary Files are intended for mapping and visualisation. When joining other data to counties, geographic identifiers such as Census GEOIDs/FIPS-style identifiers should be used where possible.
Customers should check the Census Bureau for newer boundary vintages.
Azimap does not own or maintain the original Census Bureau data.

Licence & Attribution
Licence:
Open Government Licence v3.0
The OpenDataSoft catalogue identifies the World Food Programme as the publisher and explicitly lists the dataset licence as Open Government Licence v3.0.
Recommended Attribution:
Source: World Food Programme (WFP), World Administrative Boundaries – Countries and Territories. Licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
Important Information
The dataset is designed for general geographic mapping of countries and territories.
International boundaries and territorial designations can be disputed or change over time and should not be treated as legal determinations.
Customers should refer to the original source for the latest available data and licensing information.
Azimap does not own or maintain the original dataset.
4. World Nuclear Power Plants
Data Type: Shapefile / GIS Point Data
Provider: International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
Primary Source: Power Reactor Information System (PRIS)
Description:
Shows nuclear power reactor locations and associated information from around the world. PRIS contains information about operating reactors, reactors under construction and reactors being decommissioned, together with status, location, operator, owner, technical characteristics and milestone dates.
The Azimap demonstration dataset also contains active/operating years derived from relevant reactor milestone dates.
Coverage:
Worldwide
Update Frequency:
PRIS is continually updated by the IAEA.

IAEA Terms and Conditions of Use
This is not described as a standard open-data licence. The IAEA permits use, reproduction and dissemination of its website content, including data, provided appropriate acknowledgement of the IAEA is given and no IAEA endorsement is stated or implied. Specific restrictions can apply to particular materials or databases.
Recommended Attribution:

Additional Demo Note:
Active years calculated from PRIS reactor milestone dates.
Important Information
PRIS information is supplied through national data providers and validated by the IAEA.
Reactor status can change, so PRIS should be checked for current information.
The derived Active Years value in the Azimap example is not itself an official PRIS field.
Use of the data must not suggest IAEA endorsement of Azimap or the resulting map.
5. UK General Election 2024 Results

Open Government Licence v3.0
ONS states that digital boundary products are supplied under the Open Government Licence and requires both of the following attribution statements:
Source: Office for National Statistics licensed under the Open Government Licence v.3.0
Contains OS data © Crown copyright and database right 2026
If you keep the page online into future years, the ONS wording uses [year], so that copyright year should be kept appropriate to the year in which the material is being reproduced.
Important Information
The boundary file contains both ONS and Ordnance Survey intellectual property.
For the election demonstration, constituency codes such as PCON24CD are preferable for joining data where available rather than relying only on constituency names.
Azimap does not own or maintain the original ONS boundary data.
