OS Ireland's (OSi) MapGenie is a set of Geospatial services that provide online, immediate access to the most complete, highest quality and authoritative map data available for Ireland.

There are two types of layer available in the MapGenie service:

• Mapgenie Rest - a WMS like service recommended for desktop applications
• MapGenie Cache - a slippy map like service recommended for web applications

Mapgenie services are secured by a token that is supplied by OSi secured at the domain or IP level. Services are available is Irish Tranverse Mercator and a more limited selection in Irish Grid and Web Mercator.
